Fire Kids is an intentional, fun, and safe ministry where children can experience Jesus on their level. Fire Kids services are designed for children from Nursery through 5th grade.

On Sunday mornings, look for the Fire Kids Check-In table. There, a team member will greet you, collect any necessary information, and answer any questions you may have. Afterward, we’ll guide you to your child’s room!

babies + toddlers

Our Nursery Team is dedicated to caring for our littlest friends with love and attention. Your child will be welcomed into a safe, nurturing and clean environment filled with fun! We provide age-appropriate toys and activities to ensure their enjoyment and safety. Our goal is to give you peace of mind as you drop off your child, allowing you to fully engage in worship and experience God in a meaningful way, while we're telling our smallest members about God's love for them! 

preschool

In our Preschool classes, we provide an intentional time for teaching, worship, and fun activities. We teach foundational truths about what it means not only to follow Jesus but also to be loved by Him!

elementary

Every Sunday, our Fire Kids enjoy worship, teaching, and plenty of fun and games, designed just for them!  Our goal is to teach them the living Word of God while creating space for them to experience His presence, because there is no Jr. Holy Spirit! We've also created a space for our 5th graders to have dedicated small group time for them as they transition from Elementary to Jr. High.

Who can serve in Kid's Ministry?

Any person can sign up to be on the team after attending Growth Track, but each person is required to have a background check, and meet with the Fire Kids Staff before they are officially a part of the Fire Kids team! 

Why do I have to check my kids in?

Every child has a profile setup for them within our database that connects them to the guardian who brings them to service! So once you've checked in, your child will get a sticker that has their name, your name and phone number, the children's area they'll be attending, and a combination of numbers and letters that is duplicated on a sticker for the parent. This ensures that each child leaves with the correct guardian when they're picked up, and let's us know who is here when!

Is it safe?

Yes! Your child's safety is our first priority! Before anyone serves in kids ministry, we require a background check along with extensive training. Each team member is trained on safety measures in case of fire or emergency, and we have security team members posted by the doors for the entirety of the service! All children's areas are secured by a door with a keypad that only the security team and staff members know to keep your child as safe and secure as possible! 

What will my kids be taught?

At Church on Fire- we believe the Bible is truth, and that is what we teach! Every kids area is equipped to teach about Jesus + the Bible in a way they can understand, in a safe environment to ask questions they may have! We believe there is no 'junior' Holy Spirit- and that kids of any age can be a part of a move of God and experience His love!

Jennavieve Harvey

Children's Pastor
Jennavieve grew up in the Bridgetown area and has been going to church on fire since 2019. She is currently a student at the University of Cincinnati working towards her Bachelor degree in social work! Jennavieve has a passion to teach the younger generation about Gods love & believes that you are never too small to make an impact for the kingdom of heaven!

Nursery + Preschool Director
Deanna is a wife and amazing "Boy Mom". She has always had a love for children and naturally stepped into her role as the Nursery + Preschool Director in 2021. Deanna loves seeing the children's pure hearts for Jesus and teaching them how much God loves them.
