Since 2011, Matt and Samantha Clarke have spent their lives pursuing God’s presence and building His Kingdom. Their journey in ministry started with missions, serving for four years with Youth With A Mission. From leading teams in St. Petersburg, Russia, to ministering in Cornwall, England, Matt and Samantha have seen firsthand how God moves across cultures and nations. Matt also took teams to the heart of Los Angeles and New York City Fashion Weeks, witnessing the power of the gospel in unexpected places.
In 2015, God called Matt and Samantha back to their hometown of Cincinnati, OH. When a friend in Hawaii found out they were moving back to Cincinnati without a home church to go to, they told them about a church they should check out in Harrison, OH. That church was Church on Fire. After attending for a few weeks, they knew they had found their new home. Pastor Doug approached Matt one Sunday and asked him to come on staff as a youth pastor. Matt and Samantha knew they were being called to serve the next generation at Church on Fire. For eight years, they poured into young people and created spaces where lives were transformed.
Now, as lead pastors, they remain committed to fostering a church where God is glorified and the Holy Spirit moves freely—whether in Sunday services, small groups, or the simple moments of daily life. Rooted in a love for the people and church history’s great revivals and reformations, they believe that God is writing powerful new chapters of revival today.
Married in 2013, Matt and Samantha are raising their two daughters, Aria and Reyna, to love Jesus and embrace life’s adventures. Their home is filled with laughter, movie nights, board games, and the joy of doing life with friends. Whether they’re leading the church, sharing a meal, or watching their daughters grow, their mission remains the same—to see God’s Kingdom thrive in every moment.
